Angels look on, as the perfect Image of God bleeds to restore the broken image of Mankind.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26a)
He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. (Colossians 1:15)
Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven (1 Corinthians 15:49).
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2)
