About Me

Hello!

I’m an impressionist painter based in Charlotte, NC, where I live with my husband Chris and our two young boys.

My paintings come to you from my plant-filled, upstairs home studio. There, I dream-up, paint, and package all my work.  I create alongside my oldest son, who most days builds cars and planes with legos.

Painting everyday is such a joy to me! I get lost in it. Most often, an idea for a painting will start with a color palette. Then, I find a form (whether landscape or floral or other) that embodies it well. And off it goes! From there, each painting is done intuitively. It closely resembles a waltz of brush and paint on canvas.

Through my work, I celebrate the generous beauty of nature. It gives me reason to rejoice, hope, and rest. And I want my pieces to recharge you with a sense of joy and hope, too. Thank you for letting me participate in the making of your home.

A Little History

I’m originally from Argentina and I moved to the States with my family when I was eleven. So, I’m a first generation immigrant. I speak Spanish and show a slight accent when I say yesterday

I’ve been painting and creating for as long as I can remember. But it was during my years in college, studying the humanities, that I came to see the value of art and decided to develop my interest specifically in oil painting.

I’ve learned to paint by painting. I’ve also spent many hours studying the works of Van Gogh, Monet, and other impressionists. So, in a way, they were (and still are) my teachers.

I’ve been painting for others since September of 2019, right after my second son was born. I set aside a few quiet hours during my babies’ nap-time to paint each day – and love every minute!

I’m thankful for the journey that’s brought me to this wonderful vocation, and look forward to what’s to come! Thanks for coming along!
