In the Pampas of Argentina, my homeland, the skies are big and a sea of grass extends as far as the eye can see. As a kid, I often wanted to stop the car and carve a path to those unseen little forest islands.
In this sketch, the pencil marks are in a warm-toned black on yellow-tinted paper for an old sketchbook look. I made this one a bit warmer than my other available drawings. If you print it big, you’ll see added interest in that far-off forest (see second photo).
